# ID (identification)

Simplified identification of an individual is a procedure to confirm the authenticity of the data provided by the client: name, surname, patronymic, passport series and number, SNILS/INN (one of two), as well as optional confirmation of cell phone number.

The service receives confirmation from SMEV (a system of interdepartmental electronic interaction). The service operates within the framework of the 115-FZ "On Counteraction of Legalization (Laundering) of Proceeds of Crime and Financing of Terrorism" of 07.08.2001 and implies signing a special agreement with a partner bank on carrying out identification.

On your part, it is necessary:

  1. initialize the process by passing data for simplified identification. The personal information will be sent to the EMS for verification. If you transmitted an individual's cell phone number, a text message with a code will be sent to that number, which you will need to enter in your interface.

  2. Transmit the code from the SMS for verification (in case of confirming the cell phone number).

  3. Periodically request the status of verification until it is passed. Usually the EMS prepares a response within 2-3 minutes, but sometimes there are delays of up to several hours.
